Many people don’t realize that their computer’s poor performance is due to registry errors. The windows registry is vital to your computers performance, but overtime it builds up with missing file extensions, missing DLLs, invalid paths, and other registry problems. These issues can cause your computer to take longer to load and even make your programs freeze or crash unexpectedly. Registry Cleaners provide a great way to resolve these issues and get your PC running at optimal speed again.

Some people confuse registry cleaners with anti-virus or anti-spyware programs. They are not the same thing! Anti-virus and anti-spyware programs are looking for entirely different things and have their own unique scanning and removal options. Viruses and other malware are things that can infect your computer and do not otherwise belong there. Your PC registry belongs in your computer, it just needs a little maintenance once in awhile to stay at peak performance (kind of like a car). If you use one of the recommended registry cleaners reviewed on this site and do not see an improvement in your computers problems, you may have a malware infection or other type of computer issue. Registry cleaners will not help viruses or spyware infections.
