The following is my experience of utilizing registry cleaners. We have a computer which I actually acquired several years ago. Before you think this may be an old pc which is not worthy of talking about, please listen to me for two reasons: First, the pc with its age and related problems gave me the best chance to test out the most used registry cleaner available on the market which my research uncovered. Secondly, the pc, although old was a high spec computer during the time I bought it and it’s still good for my family’s needs and is a useful second computer in the house.

We had problems with this computer but we have tons of stuff on it so we really wanted to keep it. It was showing error messages all the time, sometimes in the middle of doing serous work it will just freeze on you and you have to restart the computer. Any unsaved data is usually lost. It was frustrating but we put up with these problems for a long while putting the problems we are having down to the computer’s age.

I know what you are thinking: “why don’t you get a new one and transfer the data on to it and throw away this computer”? Yes I know, but apart from the emotional attachment we have to this computer for various reasons, in my family throwing out something like that is not that simple so please reserve your judgement.

There was a computer technician in our area so we took the computer to him to fix it. We needed him to stop the computer from freezing and crashing and make it work faster without losing any of our data saved on it.

We paid a computer technician in our area to fix the computer but it was a complete waste of money and time. after working on the computer for 4 days he was not able to stop it from freezing and crashing and the machine was still slow.

We looked on the internet for solutions and that was when we discovered registry cleaners as a possible solution to our computer problems. I also realised that there are so many brands of registry cleaners on the market. I selected seven of them and evaluated them. It was clear from the evaluation that some registry cleaners work better than others.

Since most of the Registry cleaners do the same job I focused on the one that is popular with more people buying it. My reason for this was that people will only buy if it was a better registry cleaner. on this basis because Regcure registry cleaner has over 60 million downloads I purchased it.

First I used it to perform a free scan of my pc to find out what was wrong with it and how Regcure can help solve the problem. Boy was I surprised! The scan revealed 2,221 errors, broken links and corrupted file paths on my computer. The Regcure software then asked if I want them fixed. I clicked yes please! I waited to see what would happen. Somehow I didn’t expect it to repair the computer for free but to my surprise it went ahead and fixed 11 crucial errors for free and then asked me to upgrade if I wanted the other 1210 errors fixed. I went ahead and paid the small fee required for the upgrade. The rest, they say, is history. I got my computer back, running like new. My son and I could not believe we have managed to save our precious computer and our important information held on it all by ourselves. We hi-fived and celebrated our success. Yes registry cleaners work! Just choose the right one.

In case you are a bit lost with the technical terms, DLL is an abbreviation for Dynamic Link Library and DLL files refers to those program files that are used to store the data required for our PC to run properly.

In case you are a bit lost with the technical terms, DLL is an abbreviation for Dynamic Link Library and DLL files refers to those program files that are used to store the data required for our PC to run properly.

A basic feature you need to understand about DLL files is that some of them are only used by the particular computer application that has installed them, while others are probably shared amongst various applications that run within the Windows system.

One big benefit with using DLL files is that they do not require much disk space, but they can also cause you the headache of having registry errors when a DLL file is missing or the DLL files shared amongst several applications run into conflicts with each other.

At first, these errors may hardly be noticeable and appear harmless. However, you may suddenly find on one day that the programs in your pc are unable to load, or, worse still, your entire system fails to function at all …

You may ask why it is so easy for DLL errors to take place? This is because a problem can occur whenever a DLL file is modified or removed. This is especially an issue when a DLL file is shared amongst a number of programs. When one of the programs gets deleted, that DLL file can be deleted the same time by accident and result in the mal-function of other associated programs. In another situation, a shared DLL file gets upgraded along with the upgrading of one of the programs, but such change may not be compatible with the other programs and therefore causes them to perform funnily. When this happens, you start to get errors with your registry and your system becomes highly unstable.

So, what can you do in this situation? An easy and quick fix is to clean your registry errors and there are plenty of registry repair software in the market to help you out. If you select a good one, it will also clean the errors that are not caused by DLL files and thus give your system a total boost.

A registry repair software can do all the technical work you expect from a professional – delete unnecessary files in the registry, clean up the empty spaces and fragments, remove the traces of any problem installation and even the embedded keys generated by malicious software. Many good programs also have a backup feature, so that you will not have the worry of file loss in case your computer experience another crash for whatever reason in the future.

How do you clean up the registry errors in your computer? Do you still do it the manual way? That is, you check all your registry files one by one, decide on which are now useless and delete them.

by Sharon Walker

How do you clean up the registry errors in your computer? Do you still do it the manual way? That is, you check all your registry files one by one, decide on which are now useless and delete them.

As you can see, this method is not just slow, but is also a challenge if you are not a technical savvy. Often, if you were not so sure about what to do with a particular file, the safest approach was just to keep it! This is why you end up with so many unnecessary files on your computer that slow down its overall performance. It is even worse if you accidentally delete an important file – just imagine the mess that could be brought to you!

In order to get more reliable results, some people began hiring maintenance people to help with cleaning the registry, often once a month. This service was not cheap, costing some where between hundreds and thousands of dollars a year, depending on whether yours was a home computer or office equipment. What you may not know is that all these maintenance guys do was to clean up the registry – remove all temporary files and unwanted dll files and your PC will begin to work like its first day.

Having said that, I have no intention to stop you from using a computer technician. However, for a simple job like registry cleaning, you can save your money with a registry repair software. This kind of software can fix the errors with your registry just as quickly and accurately as the professional services, if not better. It only costs you a small one-time fee to have unlimited use, and you can run it at any time you like.

There are a host of registry fixing software in the market place for you to choose. What these tools do in common include:

- Conduct a thorough scan of the registry of your PC and locate all redundant and corrupt files.

- Display all the errors they have detected with your registry. You are given the choice of letting the software to fix all errors for you automatically or commanding the software to do the fix after you un-check the files you would like to keep.

If you choose to clean up registry errors in your pc with a registry repair tool, all you have to do is get online and download the software on your computer. Usually, the installation only takes a couple of minutes and you are ready to go!

In case you do not already know, DLL stands for Dynamic Link Library and DLL files are used by many many computer applications to store functions and data required for proper operation.

A basic feature you need to understand about DLL files is that some of them are only used by the particular computer application that has installed them, while others are probably shared amongst various applications that run within the Windows system.

Dll files are appreciated for their ability to run programs with minimal disk space requirements, but they also have obvious limitations – they can often cause registry errors when DLL files are missing or running into conflicts with one or more of the programs running on it.

Not all registry errors are immediately noticeable. However, you will eventually run into the situation where your PC takes forever to load or your entire system fails to work at all…

Then, what has caused the DLL errors? Remember we have mentioned that DLL files can be shared amongst various applications? In this case, a DLL file can get accidentally deleted when you delete one of the applications. In another situation, one of the applications gets upgraded along with the related DLL file, but such change may not be compatible with other applications that run on it. Even for those unshared DLL file, problem can occur whenever a file is modified or gets removed by accident. When these things happen, you start to get errors with your registry and in the end your PC will have funny performance.

Now, what can you do to fix these problems? You may have tried to manually remove the error files or hired a technician to do the job for you, but the most reliable and cost-effective way is to get a registry repair software. If you can find a good program, it will also clean those registry errors which are not caused by faulty DLL files and therefore give your PC a complete cleaning.

What a registry cleaner does is to remove all outdated entries in the registry, re-format it by cleaning the empty spaces and fragments, delete the traces of any faulty installation and even the embedded keys generated by malicious programs. Many registry repair tool also comes with a backup feature which will save your computer from risks of potential damage in the future.

by Montchio Mbamegnam

The registry of a computer is the place where programs are tracked. Whenever you install or remove a new program, the registry is updated. The registry is accessed whenever you start up a computer, or launch a program on your computer. As you use your PC, there is a natural tendency to add or remove programs regularly.

Windows uses a system called the system registry. This is a central database that is used by all modern Windows platforms. This registry or central hierarchal database contains all the information that is required by the operating system to configure the system and make it operate efficiently. The operating system constantly refers to the registry for information. This may be several times a minute and the information sought may range from user profiles, which applications are installed on the machine, to what hardware is installed and which ports are registered and used for what service. The system registry was introduced in the late 1990′s along with Windows ninety-five and replaced the older version of recording data in .INI files. The entire registry is composed of binary code and keeps on growing as the operating system adds entries to it. This slows down the system and it needs a registry cleaner to erase all the useless sentries to make the system more efficient.

Think about the last time you install a new game, a trial software, or a brand new software. Every time an event like that happens, the registry is changed. Perhaps you are starting to observe that over time, your computer takes a longer time to boot up. That is because the registry is so cluttered that the system has to take more time to sort through this clutter. Initially, booting up may just require 15 to 30 secs. With a cluttered registry, boot up time can be as long as a couple of minutes

The registry is one of the most important, if not the most important segment of your computer. It’s your PC’s database where all important information is kept including those that belong to the programs you installed. Over time, when you have done a series of installing and removing, your computer system gets clogged with good and bad sectors. Sometimes, deleted files or programs leave traces of useless registry and the repercussion is the slowdown of your PC’s performance. This is the reason why you need to clean Windows registry occasionally

Should you wish to have your computer run and perform at its best you need to ensure that it is free from registry errors, broken files and other problems. Doing all this manually can be difficult, time consuming and pose some risks, if you are not well versed with computers. It is recommended that a registry cleaner get the job done for you, as it lets you do a scan and finds and repairs any errors easily and effectively. Having the proper registry tool means that you are assured that your computer will perform at its best, without any of the usual problems, such as computer crashing, that can lead to hardship and frustration.

Computer users believe that when power is supplied to the computer, it can function normally without any additional assistance. Many users expect their computer to have optimal performance irrespective of its age. It is possible to maintain the performance of the computer, but you have to take steps maintain the performance. You have to realize that computers are not maintenance free devices. Even though you are a novice user, you have to know all sorts of maintenance software that can help your PC function optimally. While intelligent users use registry repair products right from the day one of using their computer, many users don’t know the importance of such products

A registry cleaner can repair your registry faster then any human can manually. It is worth your time and money to at least notice your computers problems by running a free scan. If nothing shows up then your computer is clean, or it involves a problem not related to your registry. Either way knowledge is invaluable and you owe it to your computers health.

Registry Cleaner uses advanced technology to scan more than 10 important parts of the registry. It can also clean and repair unwanted debris left behind by adware and spyware. Registry Cleaner is the safest and most trusted solution that automatically cleans and optimises your system, frees it from registry errors and unwanted fragmented file entries. One mouse click and Registry Cleaner does the rest, and using Registry Cleaner regularly keeps your PC free from errors and from obsolete, unused or unwanted files . Registry cleaners using this technique categorize all errors into safe to delete?, Not fully safe to delete?
